Questions
Safety, answered.
Who can report an adverse event or a quality complaint?
Anyone — patients, caregivers, doctors, pharmacists and distributors. You do not need to be sure that the product caused the problem.
What happens after I report?
Your report goes to our quality and pharmacovigilance team, who review it, may contact you for more detail and take any action needed. Personal details are kept confidential and used only to follow up.
Should I stop using the product?
Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own — speak to your doctor first. If you feel unwell, seek medical care immediately.
I think my pack may be fake or tampered with.
Keep the pack, do not use it, note the batch number, and send us the details and photographs. Buy only from authorised sellers — pharmacies, our distributors and Viamed.
Can I report directly to the government programme?
Yes. The Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), run by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, accepts reports from healthcare professionals and from patients (ipc.gov.in).
Emergency This page is not for medical emergencies. If someone is seriously unwell, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital.
